Clean agent fire suppression systems are designed to protect areas where a water fire suppression system could cause irreversible damage. They are suitable replacements for Halon fire suppression systems.
Clean agent fire suppression systems are typically used in protecting electrical rooms, computer rooms, telecommunication rooms, generator rooms, libraries, museums, art galleries, or any type of area that contains materials that would be destroyed by a water fire suppression system.
Clean agent fire-extinguishing systems shall be installed, maintained, periodically inspected and tested in accordance with NFPA 2001 and their listing.
