Jackson St Drug Arrest

Drug arrest 


On August 24th the Lafayette Police Department Street Crimes Unit conducted a narcotics investigation at a residence in the 1900 block of Jackson St.  This investigation stemmed from complaints from the community about possible illegal activity taking place at a residence.  As a result of the investigation, Officers were able to obtain a search warrant for the location and subsequently located 885 grams of synthetic marijuana and $224.00 in cash.


Jahmal Moore (38) was arrested for possession and dealing of synthetic marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a legend drug.  Moore was transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail.
