What does the Lafayette Housing Authority do?: We provide rental assistance to low income families who qualify for our program. 1. What is the Lafayette Housing Authority?: The Lafayette Housing Authority is a non-profit agency. We contract with HUD to administer the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program. We are not HUD.
