We are challenged to obtain the most advantageous option for the disposal of surplus, damaged, scrap, or obsolete materials and equipment.

All bid documents (RFA's, RFP's & JPB Bids) must be obtained through the Office of the City Clerk. They may also be requested electronically via email by referencing the bid documents you are requesting and by including your company name, your name, phone and fax numbers.
Documents on items out for quote (RFQ's) are mailed out to prospective vendors directly from the Purchasing Department. They may also be requested electronically by stating the documents you wish to receive and by including your company name, your name, phone and fax numbers in your email request.
Bid documents falling under Reverse Auction are obtained directly from the host, BidBridge, via the Reverse Auction tab when an event has been scheduled.
From time to time the City of Lafayette will have property that has exceeded its useful life but still has value. This property is declared as surplus property and becomes available for purchase by the general public either by public sale or sealed bids and will be found under the tab, Notice of Sale when such events occur.
