Hours of Operation
Animal Control Officers are on duty from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday and subject to emergency call-out at all other times. Animal Control Officers are dispatched through the Lafayette Police Department at (765) 807-1200.
Contact Lafayette Animal Control to report
- Barking Dog Complaints
- Stray/Unrestrained dogs or cats
- Trapped dogs or cats
- Dog bites
- Animal Abuse/Neglect
- Deceased animals in the roadway
Licensing Information
Lafayette residents are required to license their dogs and cats annually. License tags can be obtained at the Lafayette City Clerks Office, located on the second floor of City Hall. Applications are available online and at the Clerks Office.
