Holiday Camp
Give your kids something to celebrate over the holidays! Come join the McAllister team and show your kids something other than television or a video game. Holiday Camp is offered for boys and girls ages 6-12. Children participate in a variety of activities, seasonal arts and crafts, and field trips. Registration is limited.

 

Dates: December 27-31

Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Before/After Care Services: 7:30am - 9:00am and 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Registration Fee: $70 per child (before and after care services available for an additional $15 per family)

The weather is getting warmer, and school is out! Come to McAllister and enjoy a week full of seasonal arts and crafts, activities, and fun! In the past, campers have enjoyed magicians, cartoonists, and many other exciting activities. This camp is offered to boys and girls ages 6-12. Spring Break Camp is held during the week of Lafayette School Corporation and Tippecanoe School Corporation Spring Break. Registration is limited to the first 40 kids!

Summer Camp

Get your bathing suits ready, it is time for fun in the sun with your friends! McAllister Recreation Center offers kids a chance to be active during summer break. Campers visit the department's aquatic facilities and other parks throughout the city. Movies, bowling, and nature field trips have been right at home during summer camp. Summer camp is offered to boys and girls ages 6-12. The camp program meets for 12 weeks throughout the summer.

The staff of the McAllister Recreation Center is proud to introduce our new Junior Counselor program! The Junior Counselor program is designed to give 13-15 year olds practical, hands-on, work experience in a day camp setting. Junior Counselors will work hand in hand with the McAllister Summer Camp staff to ensure that campers have a fun, safe, and enjoyable camp experience.

 

Junior Counselors will assist McAllister Camp Counselors, while at the same time learning valuable leadership skills. Junior Counselors will also be required to go through an application and interview process, thus allowing participants to familiarize themselves with the job interview process.

 

Fall Festival Camp
This two day mini-camp is perfect for every child. Seasonal arts and crafts, field trips, and games are offered at McAllister during the area school corporations' Fall Breaks. Trips to apple orchards have been a popular favorite of every camper. Registration is limited.
