Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteer opportunities with the Columbian Park Zoo. Volunteers and Docents provide valuable support and assistance to staff and have an integral role in the success of our many special events. You must be 18 years or older to apply. Zoo volunteers must submit an application and attend an orientation session before beginning to volunteer.

Fall 2010 Orientation Sessions
You must fill out and submit a Volunteer/Docent Application at least 2 weeks prior to your chosen Orientation Session. Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you by phone to confirm your session.
- Sunday, September 12 at 2pm
- Wednesday, September 15 at 6:30pm
- Tuesday, September 21 at 6:30pm
- Sunday, October 10 at 2pm
All new Zoo volunteers must attend ONE volunteer orientation session. All sessions are held in the Animal House building at Columbian Park Zoo and will last two hours. An orientation session is required in order to volunteer.
