Birthday Parties
Have your child's next birthday bash with us at the Columbian Park Zoo! Designed for children ages 3-12, Columbian Park Zoo Go Wild! Birthday Parties are a great way to make your child's birthday extra special.
Each Go Wild! Birthday Party package includes:
- 2 hour EdZOOcation Room rental
- Special presentation with up to 4 Animal Ambassadors, including hands-on interactions with the animals
- A keepsake photo of each child with a favorite animal
- A craft for everyone
- A Zoo Staff member to assist

Go Wild! Birthday Party Guidelines
Decorations
Our EdZOOcation Room is painted with a beautiful rainforest mural. The room can be decorated to suit the party theme. Please adhere to the following decoration guidelines:
- To protect the wall mural, we ask that no tape be attached to the walls
- Mylar balloons only, as the rubber-latex variety pose an ingestion risk to the animals
Parents are welcome to bring their own choice of refreshments. Please avoid red-colored or other staining beverages as the room is carpeted. Parents are responsible for all paper products.
Supervision
Adults attending the party remain responsible for supervising the party guests before, during, and after the party.
Animals
Special Requests for Animal Ambassador appearances are honored whenever possible. However, to safeguard the well-being of our animal friends, the Zoo reserves the right to make necessary substitutions.
Entertainment
The Zoo can provide a simple game for use during party free time, however, parents are encouraged to plan entertainment activities suited to their party's age and interest area. Popular activities include: Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Hot Potato, Musical Chairs, Pinatas, etc.
Availability
Go Wild! Birthday Parties are available on most weekends and afternoons. For weekday/evening/holiday parties, an After Hours fee may apply.
